Every year unschooling families gather in the picturesque town of Sabie (voted town of the year in South Africa multiple times) for our annual unschoolers’ weekend. We camp or hire chalets, chat, eat together, go swimming or cycling, play Werewolf, did I mention eating? The campsite in along a river that you could walk in (depends on the rains) or that you could float down on in a tube.

The campsite is also just an hour away from the famous Kruger National Park and there are tons of beautiful waterfalls that can be visited within a few minutes drive.

You get to visit a beautiful part of South Africa and connect with the lovely local unschooling community.
